With Broadwater Builds, you have complete flexibility in terms of how far we complete your extension. Some of our clients just want the extension built to 'lock-up' stage. Others want a 'turnkey' extension. We can do either of these for you or anything inbetween. Want to do some of the work yourself or have your own tradesperson in mind for a certain scope? No problem - we work with you to provide you complete flexibility and freedom with your extension project.
As with our clients who wish to design and build custom homes, our process for extensions is similar. We hold a preliminary meeting with you to understand your requirements and the layout of your existing home. From there, our designers can begin to develop concepts for you. Once you have chosen your concept plan, your detailed drawings can be developed. Sometimes, planning approval is required, but most of the time we can skip this step and go straight to building approval. We organise our works and trades to minimise disruption to your daily routine and your home during construction. We maintain constant communication with you, updating you of the scheduled activities for each week and we spend a significant amount of time supervising the works to ensure things go smoothly.
Our extension projects typically take about 2 months to complete to lock-up stage and about 3 months for a full turnkey package. Our efficiency and the way we manage our building projects ensures that you get to take advantage of your brand new living spaces as quickly as possible, but to the quality and workmanship that you expect.
